Laminated Cricket Bats ( Double Wood Cricket Bats )

Pictures: Laminated Bat compared to other normal SG & Kookaburra Bat
Laminated bats are the cricket bats which are made using 2 clefts joined together, these bats are also some times called as Double Wood. These bat's have massive profile from shoulder to toe. Generally the thickest point on the edge is 42mm plus with weight starting from 2lb 9oz and goes to any avg 2lb 11oz. I have seen alot of these bats and yet to see a laminate over 2lb 12oz in weight, so in my personel exp these bats are expectionally light weight for the extra massive profile that they carry!

The Laminated SF VA 900 cricket bat that i used myself generates exceptional power effortlesly!! These bats are good for T-20 as they provides higher bat speeds with more flesh at the back. Normally Bat speed & Flesh are inversly proportional to each other so one has to choose a specific bat suiting his style or position of play making optmisation between Bat speed & Power but with Laminated ( double wood ) cricket bats you have both at the same time.
